Best for

- Accident caused by the renter
- Contact us immediately. The renter covers damage to the car and to third parties as set out in the contract.
- Accident not caused by the renter
- Contact us immediately. The case is handled through the insurer. Keep the scene as required and do not agree a private settlement that contradicts the contract.
- Glass, tyres and wheels
- Windscreen, windows, tyres and alloy wheels are not unlimited cover by default. Unless the handover contract states otherwise, damage to these parts is the renter’s cost.
- Police
- Call the police when the situation or the insurer requires it (injuries, disagreement on fault, serious damage). Always notify GoGeo first so we can tell you what paperwork is needed.
- Damage without an accident report
- New damage found at return without a reported accident is treated as the renter’s responsibility, except marks already listed at pickup.
- What is not covered
- Border crossing, driving under the influence, unauthorised drivers, trophy off-road use, and ignoring handover instructions. Cosmetic marks recorded at pickup are excluded.
